Catfish tournament set at Turtle Creek Reservoir

Turtle Creek Reservoir, a 1,550-acre reservoir, will be the location for fishing enthusiasts to try their skill with a rod and reel. Hoosier Energy REC has partnered with the Indiana Catfish Association, ICA, for an open fishing tournament from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., March 19 at Turtle Creek Reservoir in Sullivan County.

A call for anglers

   WHAT: Indiana Catfish Association fishing tournament (Participants do not have to be ICA members)
   WHEN: March 19 at 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
   WHERE: Turtle Creek Reservoir in Sullivan County
   HOW MUCH: $10 entry fee

Tournament details

  • Cash and prizes to total $2,500
  • 12-inch minimum length
  • 10 fish limit
  • No boat launch fee
  • Motors more than 10 horsepower will be allowed but are required run at idle speed
